2025 Commissioning Project: Southern & East Africa
In 2025 we will host a Pan-African concert and commissioning concert in Cape Town, South Africa, engaging composers across Africa with a special emphasis on indigenous instruments and expanding our collection to Southern and East Africa.
Our concerts are more than just performances: they engage audiences and musicians in new ways of music-making and celebrating the diverse range of Pan-African arts and culture.
Music for Beginners
We are currently raising funds to expand our collection to include educational music for beginners, elementary schools and middle schools. Our dream is for Pan-African art music to be institutionally integrated, forming part of the music curriculums in schools around the world. There is a vast range of African childrens' song repertory across the continent and diaspora, with stories and themes that teach important life lessons to kids.
