Sujai Arakali

Sujai is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. He is currently working on designing a pharmacy management system for pharmacists in Nigeria through NeoHealth, a startup he helped co-found. He plans on using his prior experience in organizational leadership, research, project management, and entrepreneurship to help Àkójọpọ̀ fulfill its mission. In his free time, he enjoys watching documentaries and playing tennis. As Strategic Director, Sujai is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in helping to make financial and organizational decisions for the overall vision and mission of Àkójọpọ̀. During our 2021 Virtual Mentorship Program, he developed our budget, edited the concert series, and handled our non-profit filing. Currently, Sujai and Vik are tasked with handling the logistics around delivering books of methods and repertoire to musicians in Nigeria. Sujai also helps to write grant proposals, program applications, and assist with overall project management. His excellent communication skills and strong work ethic is one of his many traits!
