Segun Owele arts administrator and accomplished flutist whose work bridges performance, education, and cultural leadership. With a foundation in flute performance and music theory instruction, Segun brings an understanding of artistic excellence and organizational strategy to every endeavor. 

He co-founded and served as Artistic Director of Dulcis, where he curated innovative programming and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration. As a Board Member of the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Segun contributes to strategic planning and community engagement, championing accessible and inclusive musical experiences. 

His administrative experience spans teaching, program coordination, and artist support, including his internship at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Massachusetts. Segun’s work is deeply informed by his scholarly interest in Afican art music and its role in the development of young and upcoming performance and audiences reflecting a commitment to music as a force social change.
